OVERVIEW
HIGH COAST WINTER HIKE
The adventure officially begins Thursday morning with a Basic Winter Outdoor Course. After that, we set off. We return on Saturday and finish by celebrating at the After-Hike. However, most participants arrive on Wednesday for the pre-evening and stay until Sunday to not miss the after-party. For a more detailed schedule, check out the program.

PRE-EVENING
Most participants arrive on Wednesday to have plenty of time to check in, pick up food and maps, and pack their backpacks.
FriluftsByn keeps the Living Room open with food and drinks for a great hangout.
DAY I
In the morning, you can check in, pick up food and maps – then we’ll have the Basic Winter Outdoor Course.
After lunch at FriluftsByn, we’ll take buses to the National Park. Explorer and Expedition will take different buses. Let the adventure begin!
DAY II
We wake up in the midst of the stunning nature, and more exciting hiking awaits.
On the second night, Explorer and Expedition will camp at the same campsite. We’ll have a barbecue evening, and those who want can try ice swimming.
DAY III
We wake up to silence and tired legs. Then we hike together along the High Coast Trail towards the finish line at the top of the majestic Skuleberget. The Top Cabin will be open, serving delicious waffles and full-service refreshments. In the evening, we gather to celebrate our achievements at the After-Hike with live music.
RETURN TRIP
Most people stay until Sunday. Be sure to book a cabin in advance or a spot at the community hall. You can camp for free at FriluftsByn.
