High Coast Winter Hike

AN ADVENTURE
BY PEOPLE
JUST LIKE YOU

High Coast Winter Hike has been held every year since 2014 and is one of FriluftsByn’s Original Adventures. We, the ones making sure this adventure happens, just like you, enjoy embarking on adventures, learning something new, the sense of community that forms when doing something exciting together, and of course, celebrating our achievements when we return. Here, you’ll find more information and how to get in touch with us.

WE MAKE THE ADVENTURE POSSIBLE

FRILUFTSBYN

FriluftsByn is the driving force behind some of Sweden’s most popular outdoor adventures. High Coast Winter Hike is one of FriluftsByn’s original adventures.

GUIDES / VOLUNTEERS

A total of 20 people ensure that you have an exciting and safe adventure, handling everything from guiding and navigation to logistics and transportation.

OUTDOOR COMPANIES

We are incredibly grateful that Naturkompaniet and Woolpower help create this adventure and are on-site to contribute with knowledge and a helping hand when needed.

LANDOWNERS

We have a close collaboration with the County Administrative Board of Västernorrland and landowners as we pass through national parks, nature reserves, and private land. We are incredibly grateful to showcase our home to the world.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

We have done our best to ensure that you can find all the information you need on this page. Under the registration section, you will find everything you need to know about your participation, and under Explorer and Expedition, you can read more about the two groups in High Coast Winter Hike. JERRY ENGSTRÖM, FRILUFTSBYN
